vacation: drummond island, mi

There’s nothing like a week long vacation with your family in your home state. Drummond Island, MI is one of the most beautiful places to see. 4th of July week was one for the books and I’m so happy to say that it will be a repeat next year. Open water bays, kayaking, white sand…PARADISE. I hope you all enjoyed your holiday as well!!!

toys 4 tots

So I don’t have the most glamorous job, but I do get the opportunity to be a part of some amazing events including Toys 4 Tots. I couldn’t think of a more heart warming way to start my Christmas spirit then to help raise thousands of dollars and collect hundreds of toys for those little ones who don’t usually have a Christmas. Working at a Harley-Davidson dealership and on my feet all day, comfort sometimes wins the battle when choosing the outfit…just a casual day at work!!!

Thanksgiving day is always a blessing, but even more so this year. I was invited to be a volunteer on the Style Squad for America’s Thanksgiving Parade here in Detroit. What better way to start off your day then to experience the magical moments of such an amazing event, right from the streets of it all. Thank you to The Parade Company for this opportunity!

How did Thanksgiving treat you all?
