anthropologie scarf

With less than two months until the big move to California, my days off are filled with sun and spent on the beautiful surrounding lakes in my hometown. Friends have taken up every free day I have and what better way to spend them then on the lake. Of course every outing I attend is another chance to spice things up in the fashion department (work doesn’t allow me to do much of this). I’m currently obsessed with mixing prints, as you can see on Instagram, and this new Anthropologie scarf has appeared many times, maybe even too many. The colors scream “hot Mexico summer” and livens up the black and white floral design on this maxi. Although this day was particularly warm, I could not stand not showing her colors again. Did I mention I got it for only $19?…I just love a good find.

vacation: drummond island, mi

There’s nothing like a week long vacation with your family in your home state. Drummond Island, MI is one of the most beautiful places to see. 4th of July week was one for the books and I’m so happy to say that it will be a repeat next year. Open water bays, kayaking, white sand…PARADISE. I hope you all enjoyed your holiday as well!!!

Happy Summer Days xx – J

preview: vacation

After much needed vacation and a huge computer dilemma, and the reason for not posting, I am happy to show that we are back in action. A week in the U.P. of Michigan was just what the doctor ordered…of course fashion never took a backburner. I’m so excited to share with you all I’ve had planned with new outfit posts, vacation photos, and more updates.

I hope everyone has had an amazing holiday week!!!

Happy Monday xx J

My favorite would have to be the Los Angeles “cigar box” bank my brother made me for Christmas…which leads me to some news. After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to move to the ever-so-sunny West after graduation (anywhere from July to October). I know that’s a big time gap but just not sure when I’ll finally be a graduate…feels so good to say that word. Anywho, I’m preparing for a new adventure with fashion on my mind and ready to see what LA has to bring. Until then, I’m enjoying every minute I can of my home town in Michigan. Until then….
